Introduction

Being a busy person, I do not get enough time to watch movies. However, whenever I get an opportunity to watch a film, I grab that.

When and where you saw it?

Five years back, due to torrential rain, I did not go to my office. Since I was free at home, I utilized that day by watching a movie.

What type of film it was?

I watched a motivational movie by the name of “3 idiots”.

What the film was about?

The film is about the struggles of three budding engineers who become roommates in a college hostel. Two of them always have troubles in their lives because of their negative mindset. On the other hand, the third character always handles the conflicts adroitly due to his carefree nature.

The protagonist, who is the third character, changes the mindset of his two roommates and help them to lead their lives towards an impressive growth trajectory.

And explain why it is your favourite film?

It is my favourite film because it teaches us to think beyond the conventional domain. This film summarises that “Whenever we face adversities in our lives, we just need to say ourselves “All is well“. This small sentence has led to a paradigm shift in my life.

As human beings, we always exaggerate things and circumstances. Likewise, we overdramatize our troubles too.

As per the message conveyed in this movie, instead of feeling tense, we should handle the issues in our life with a positive and optimistic mindset.

Therefore, whenever I feel stressed, I watch this movie. The guidance provided in this film works like a charm for me.

On the other hand, documentaries provide knowledge, and they do not have flashy songs and dance moves. Due to this reason, a limited audience prefers to watch documentary movies.

A movie is a product for entertainment and a source of earning for the production team. The filmmakers leave no stone unturned to produce content that entertains the audience and generates revenue. Hence to achieve this aim, the production team generally focuses on fiction. In some cases, movies based on real-life events are made, but the facts are ignored for the sake of entertainment.

As far as men are concerned, they prefer to watch movies related to action and suspense. On the other hand, women show more inclination towards romantic films. Hence, there is a significant difference in the choice of movies watched by both men and women.

The choice for watching movies goes for a change with age. Children prefer watching movies with cartoon characters, and adults show an inclination towards romantic and action movies. Whereas, elderly choose to watch religious films.

My favourite film star is Tom cruise. He always goes beyond the conventional domain to provide entertainment to the audience. The way he has maintained his physique even after attaining middle age inspires me a lot.
