There was a time when every year Floods used to storm through the canyon. Spring Snow from a far off location known as Wyoming
would unfreeze and expand the Colorado river to a flow that would average close to 1,500 cubic metres (50,000
cubic feet) a second. The interesting point is after every eight years or so, the figure inclines to nearby 3,000 cubic metres
